PROPS: Remember, that you can only bring ONE prop to hold. No more than one. Also it needs to be a word that appears in the song - you CANNOT bring in a phone because it is NOT a word that appears in the Cold and Fugue song.
EXTRA PRACTICE IN THE TECH LAB
Come see me on Fridays during your lunch and or recess and we will run through parts and have lunch together. Do not worry about remembering to bring your music as I will have extra copies for you.
These are the following instruments that are available to play for Tuimbe and the measure numbers in which they start: cabasa (m.1), conga (m.14), maracas (m.23), possibly woodblocks (m.32), tambourine (m.51), vibraslap (plays only twice in the whole song). If you need help getting the rhythm down, you can come see me or even ask Mr. Coates to show you how to clap the rhythm.
You must be able to sing your part and play the instrument as well - these will be auditioned parts.
Congratulations to the following students:
Maneet Singh (Ferraris)
Shreya Venkatesan (Ferraris)
Dhriti Dinesh (Ferraris)
Andrew Chang (Kapinos)
Radha Niwargi (Kharawala)
Prisha Inamdar (Kharawala)

Thank you all for trying out!!
The remainder of the auditions will be done on next Friday, Nov. 17th (DURING YOUR RECESS) for those of you who have not had the chance to audition for either the District Choral Festival OR the Chamber Choir group.
Remember, you will need to pick one of the 2 songs and I will have you sing back to me a few tone sets.
Please make sure you are prepared with your song!
Have a wonderful 4 day weekend!
